Chess

At age 11, Danial achieved the title of Master, and since then he has become an International Master (with 1 Grandmaster norm) and 5-time National Champion. He represented team USA in several international settings, and has competed with the best in the world including World Champion Magnus Carlsen, Grandmaster Hikaru Nakamura, and ex-World Champion Viswanathan Anand (shown right). In 2014, he founded the Asaria School of Chess and since then has traveled across the country organizing chess camps and private lessons for 500+ students. He has instructed students ages 5-85, ranging from CEO’s/Hedge Fund Managers to Afghan Refugees, and several have gone on to win national championships and become the best in their respective age categories.
